November Renewal Levy 2025
Not a New Tax Canton Local Schools is asking voters to renew an existing levy on the November 4, 2025 ballot. The 10.8-mill levy has been in place since 2001, and its last five-year renewal was approved in 2021. It supports day-to-day operations (like staff and supplies) and permanent improvements (like buses and building upgrades).

Superintendent Larry Tausch will host a BRIK — Building Resiliency in Kids presentation on Wednesday, November 12 at 6:00 p.m. in the Canton South Performing Arts Center. This is the same presentation offered in September, so if you missed it or want a refresher, now’s your chance. Learn practical ways to help students develop healthy online habits, make positive choices, and thrive in school and beyond.

School Days Beginning Oct. 20th* 8:30 am - 10:30 am Check-in at event entrance Door #4. You MUST bring a valid driver's license or state ID. *If school is closed - the track is closed.

Board of Education Meeting November 10, 2025
The Canton Local Board of Education will hold its regularly scheduled meeting on Monday, November 10, 2025, at 6:00 pm in the Canton South High School Community Room. The meeting is open to the public; attendees are asked to use door #2.
